Welcome!
Already the setting of the shop makes any football-enthusiastic heart beat faster: on sixty square meters a small scale stadium has been built. Crossing the artificial turf covering the entire floor, you reach the goal posters. Under the floodlights and blue sky ceiling, you can play some finger football, browse the many books or have a scorch at goal. Covering the walls to your left and right are shelves built like tribunes. This is football conceptualized, an ode to the sport beyond ordinary imagination – and prejudices.
Founder and owner of this unique concept store is Tülin Duman. GOAL is a childhood dream coming true and with the opening of the shop Ms Duman turned her private passion for the game into business. The shop itself has customers and supporters from all over the world and has been portrayed in Japanese glossy magazines as well as Financial Times.
The concept of GOAL is constantly evolving from the original idea of “football beyond borders”. It focuses on the power to unify people and nations that football posits, rather than traditional aspects of fan culture.
This philosophy also reflects in our different events, like readings in the course of “The long night of books” in Kreuzberg, and cooperations, as with the global network streetfootballworld – the other dimension of the game during the World Cup 2006.
We look forward to welcome you in store!
